Hi again. This post is going to be my final one. So, I am sad👴


Before letting me go, I want to talk about my personal experiences through the Educational Technologies class.


How did you view technology in English language teaching before you took this course? 


  Obviously, I am more experienced and knowledgeable about technology now. Generally, I have been using technology for doing my homework, researching, and working mostly. After I have started to take this class, my perspective on technology has changed. Firstly, I learned that there are many useful tools for learners, especially English learners. Secondly, I was able to improve my digital skills which I will use throughout my life. And finally, I improve myself in terms of group working.


How this course has contributed to your learning about and understanding of technology integration in ELT?

   

   As I said, the Internet is like a sea in which there are numerous resources for learning and teaching English. When those resources are blended with classes and courses, coupled with the task-based approach, it is extraordinarily utilizable. After that, I have started to use technology much more.


The tasks you have completed, which one(s) you liked the most, and which one(s) the least?


   Podcasting is my favorite task. I don't know the reason actually. The least I like can be "Digital-Postering". 


What would you suggest to improve the course?


   Because I took this course online, I couldn't benefit at a maximum level. It is a generally effective and creative course. Maybe, I could say that some tasks are really effortful. Those can be facilitated.

MY INFOGRAPHIC EXPERIENCE

  Our task today was to prepare an infographic. Before I started I thought about what subjects I would prepare. Then I determined a topic. The location is called How To Study? happened. This is because students need for this. Then I used the design media called Canva. This platform allows you to make very good designs with the various professional templates it contains. You can reach my poster at the bottom. Creating an infographic initially causes you to do brainstorming. Therefore, this aspect is important. It then leads you to use various platforms and improve your design skills. It is also important in this respect. All in all, it was fun for me to create an infographic. WebQuest and Farewell

Hi, today I've completed our final task which is QuestGarden. I am going to talk about it and say my last words.  Firstly, I want to talk about WebQuest. It is an interactive platform enabling teachers to create process-based materials for students. It includes phases such as Introduction-Task-Process and Evaluation. Our task was to prepare a WebQuest in which students will follow a guideline to learn and study. I worked with Selda Kaya, you can reach her website by clicking here. We firstly decided on a topic which was saving nature. We then brainstormed and reasoned about the process.
